Whale carcass fishermen mistaken for an alien ship

While swimming in the Pacific Ocean two fishermen found an unusual circular object and thought it was a huge balloon, or even an alien ship. On closer inspection it turned out that a dead whale whose body was swollen.
The incident described by Mark Watkins on his page on Facebook, posting photos. "We realized that a dead whale that smell," - says Mark. Whale View is not officially defined.
Watkins and his father swam 50 km from Bunbury (Australia). They found a huge ball floating on the surface. Swam closer, they looked bloated carcass of a dead whale. Its body is swollen due to gas, which is recovered after the death of the animals. When fishermen swam, sharks have bitten through the thick skin of the whale, and gas escapes.
Scientist Andrew David Thaler said that the swollen corpses of whales may burst and cause a lot of trouble seaside town. "The smell of decomposing whale - the worst smell in the world", - the professor said. When the sharks can not pierce the skin of this animal, whale corpses drifting in the sea, yet do not sink to the bottom. It is well known that the decomposition of the corpse of a whale can take up to 30 years.
